Astragalus and Turkey Tail Chai Tea Recipe

I like to have a big batch of chai herbs already mixed and set in a jar so that each time I make the chai I don’t have to take seven different jars off the shelf, measure each of the herbs, put them back, etc. Who has time for that?

Now to add your

Use a 1/2 cup of the above mixture along with:

  • 1 tsp of turkey tail mushroom
  • 1 stick or tsp of astragalus
  • 1 tsp of codonopsis

Place all the herbs above in a pot with about 6 cups of water and cover. I let this simmer for at least 20 minutes up to an hour on the stove. Then strain, add milk, and enjoy! This makes two large servings of chai.
