I thought we could discuss a potential morning ritual for adding micro-dosing into your life. Micro-dosing is not for everyone. Contrary to what many companies are claiming in their marketing, psychedelic mushrooms are not a cure-all for everyone. As with all plants and fungi, they are here on this planet with a purpose and should be treated and taken with reverence.

Psilocybin Mushrooms taken in ritual for ceremonial purposes have been used for approximately 3500 years according to historical texts. However, we have been writing things down for a very short time. So we’ve most likely been discovering the benefits of building a relationship with this fungus for much longer.

American and European scientists started working with these allies in the early 20th century and Harvard ethnobotanist, Blas Pablo Reko collected and deposited samples in Harvards Herbarium in 1940. Our Elite colleges have quite a history of discovering the benefits of LSD and Mushrooms before they were Illegal. I may write a blog on this later in greater detail.

Maria Sabina, Mazatec healer in Southern Mexico describes the experience of using these mushrooms “There is a world beyond ours, a world that is far away, nearby and invisible. And there is where God lives, where the dead live, the spirits and the saints, a world where everything has happened and everything is known. Our world talks. It has a language of its own. The sacred mushroom takes me by the hand and brings me to the world where everything is known.”

I am familiar with taking psychedelics recreationally and don’t have any objections to this practice. However, If you have ever experienced and been with someone, who had a “bad trip”, it was most likely due to a lack of guidance and setting. Traditional cultures had wise elders who walked the community through these experiences. There is a great benefit to working with someone during a macro-dose journey.

Today we focus on Miscro-dosing. This is taking a very tiny dose, too small to register in your awareness. Kinda πŸ™‚

When you order a consultation from my site, we talk through a very in-depth plan on how to discover the right dose for you and what herbs or additional mushrooms are appropriate for your situation. My experience is that Micro-dosing tends to be the most effective after a Macrodose journey. But some find benefits without going through a macro-dose experience first.

I don’t recommend buying products online in chocolate bars or with other supportive herbs. You can’t control how much of the psilocybin is in each serving and if you react to one of the other ingredients, you might think it’s the mushroom. I have spoken to a few people who get anxiety or a strong sense of distrust, rashes, and other side effects from consuming premixed products online.

Also, please know that these mushrooms can trigger an undiagnosed disorder in young people. Please work with a practitioner when it comes to our children age 24 and under. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC10493007/

There are quite a few resources online and in books to discover if this is a good fit for you. Christopher Hobbs, Paul Stammets, Andrew Weil, James Fadiman, and many others have great books out there.

Guausa Leaf

Guayusa (Ilex guayusa) is a holly tree native to the Amazon rainforest.

People have harvested this tree’s leaves since ancient times due to their health benefits, including antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

Guayusa trees can grow 19–98 feet (6–30 meters) tall and produce bright green, oblong leaves.

Although found throughout the Amazon rainforest, this species is most widely cultivated in Ecuador.

Traditionally, its leaves are picked, dried, and brewed to make tea. Guayusa contains significant concentrations of caffeine and is a rich source of antioxidants and other beneficial plant compounds

Studies reveal that guayusa boasts several antioxidants.

These substances reduce oxidative stress by combating free radicals, which are unstable molecules in your body. They may help decrease your risk of several chronic diseases.

Guayusa is particularly rich in a group of polyphenol antioxidants known as catechins. These may protect against inflammation, heart disease, cancer, and type 2 diabetes.

Guayusa helps to protect the heart due to its concentration of theanine. A study published in the Tropical Journal of Pharmaceutical Research demonstrated the effects of theanine on heart function. Theanine was shown to lower high blood pressure by reducing inflammation in arteries and blood vessels.

Our psychedelic mushrooms are vasoconstrictors by nature so I like to mix Guayusa leaf tea in a high quality cocoa because of the relaxing nature to the circulatory system. This might sound crazy since it has caffeine but plants are complex and complimentary. Example- Peppermint is stimulating and relaxing at the same time.

Today’s recipe is Guayusa Cocoa Recipe is simple.

1 tablespoon of Guayusa leaf https://happyluckys.com/products/guayusa?_pos=1&_psq=guayusa&_ss=e&_v=1.0

1 cup water boiling.

Steep the leaf in the water for 5 minutes and strain.

Add tea to a small pot and add 1 spoon of your favorite high quality cocoa. Place the pot on a burner and bring to a small simmer. Stir the mixture till it is well combined.

Add some honey to taste.

Pour this mixture into your favorite cup and add “your microdose amount”

Enjoy!

Wishing you happiness and health,
